A central part of the FIEC Strategic Plan is to see more ministers serving the Fellowship in different areas of the UK as Local Directors.
Mark Howson is latest addition to this growing team as Director for Suffolk.
A farmer by background, Mark served as pastor at Mickfield Evangelical Church in Suffolk for more than 30 years until his retirement in 2019. He has strong links with churches across the county and we are delighted he is going to take on a role as a Local Director.
In reality, this simply formalises the work he is already doing in supporting churches and pastors across Suffolk. Mark will serve for one day a week, in a similar pattern to roles taken on earlier in the year by Paul Mallard in the West Midlands and Gareth Lewis in South Wales.
Commenting on his new role, Mark said: “It is such a joy and privilege to be part of the church in Suffolk, and I’m excited about serving her in this more formal capacity.”
Please join us in praying for Mark as he begins this new chapter of his ministry with FIEC.
