Church Planting
We’re eager to see new churches planted, and by working together we can address the needs much more effectively. Practical support is available to churches considering church planting, including consultation about the appropriate ‘model’ to use. We offer support and training to planters through networking and conferences.
Every year, we welcome around ten new church plants into the FIEC family, giving them the benefit of being part of the wider Fellowship.
We also have grants available for new churches to help them with the costs of setting up as a charity. To be eligible for this funding, a church plant must be formally ‘recognised’ by FIEC. Recognition gives a plant some of the support and benefits of affiliation without them needing to have a formal constitution.
For information on church plant recognition, please contact us.

Church Revitalisation
When a church experiences numerical decline, it can be for a variety of reasons. Often there is still a gospel heart in a smaller church community but the strength and vitality to carry out gospel work has diminished.
We aim to encourage larger churches to partner with smaller churches to offer possible solutions and, where we can, encourage smaller churches on a journey from decline to health.

National Partnerships
We love to foster relationships with other mission agencies and it’s our hope that every FIEC church will be involved in supporting and sending cross-cultural workers. We also enjoy partnerships with Co:Mission and Acts 29 as we work together on the biennial Planting Collective for church planters.
